Story Plot idea - Individual Pitch
Noah’s Nightmare Synopsis
A young boy named Noah lives a very adventurous life with his father. But that all changes on the night his father tells him a bedtime story. This is a bedtime story unlike anything Noah has been told of. As he falls asleep while his father tells him the story, Noah is thrust into an unusual world of his imagination. In his dream world, the story ends up to be his very worst nightmare. Now he faces a journey of finding his way out and awakening from this nightmare.

Hand Sculptures
The index finger points up, the thumb facing left, and the other three fingers curled down onto the palm. If you Circle the L in a clockwise circle it is the sign for library.

rights; the hand and mural together were intended to be part of the Poor People’s Campaign that year.
Some secret knowledge - The Hand of the Mysteries, which features alchemy symbolism, is also referred to as the hand of the Master Mason. It is said that the symbolic hand holds the keys to divinity and a practitioner can unlock the secrets through the symbolism. Each finger has it's own unique symbol. The pinky is typically seen with a key, the ring finger with a lantern, the middle finger with a sun, the index with a star, and the thumb with a crown. I also came across some other images of sculptured hands that i found amazing. There wasn't really much information about it and it looked outstanding.
Exhibition 'identity'
A couple of months ago Thursday i went on a trip to a museum near Euston station with some students and lectures. At the museum there was a exhibition called identity which was rearer interesting to see. i saw some useful images and sculptures. I took a couple of photos that i found appealing and interesting. Here is one photo that i picked which i found this useful towards my developing ideas.

The origin of the familiar barbershop sign is said to be derived from the original 'sign' of the barber surgeon in the middle ages. Bandages, soaked with blood from surgical operations were hung from poles outside the premises of the barber surgeon, advertising their practice. The wind would wrap the bandages around the pole, hence its development into the modern barber shop sign. The spiral helix in DNA sequences is a poignant link to surgical metaphors of the past, while in itself revealing each layer of our genetic story.

I found these images of an artist called Stephan Martiniere who is currently the visual design director for Midway Games.
Sculpture Artist - Joe Pogan
He start by welding a frame to make the general shape. Then He weld or braze the metal objects one at a time, to form the outer shell of the sculpture. He use a "blending" technique that leaves no space between the objects, so the sculpture looks solid. This allows him to hide interesting objects all over each piece, which enhances the excitement of discovery.
Some of the works are mounted on a hardwood base that he finish with natural oil.He enjoys creating them.
I really like he's sculptures that he makes. I find the level of detail into he's sculptures is incredible. It looks very futuristic. I have chosen this artist where i may use the style of techniques Joe Pogsn has done, into my work what might look interesting.

Outings-The South Bank Lion
I came across a sculpture of lion called The South Bank Lion. I found the model pretty impressive. Everyday I would past this as i was traveling to work looking the beauty of it. I found it very interesting that i wanted to know more about it. so i did.
The South Bank Lion also known as the Coade Stone Lion after the women who invented the material from which it is made is located on the south side of Westminster Bridge and weighs 13-tons showing no signs of ageing in its 150 years. The Coade Stone from which the South Bank Lion is made from is a remarkable piece of pottery and is the most waterproof stone ever made, its used for many other statues and buildings in London including the Royal Opera House, the National Gallery, and Buckingham Palace.
